More than compliance — actual insight
Bookkeeping tells you what happened. Accounting tells you what it means and what to do next. Our accounting service goes beyond record-keeping to give you the financial visibility growing businesses need: financial statements you can actually read, KPIs that matter for your industry, and an advisor who'll sit down with you and walk through the numbers.
We work with Canadian businesses preparing financials under ASPE or IFRS, and with US businesses reporting under GAAP. If you operate in both countries, we coordinate across standards so your consolidated picture makes sense.
What's included
- Monthly and quarterly financial statements — income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, prepared on a consistent schedule so you can spot trends before they become problems.
- Management reporting — custom dashboards and KPIs tailored to your business: gross margin by product line, customer profitability, project costing, whatever actually drives your decisions.
- Cash flow forecasting — rolling 13-week and annual cash flow projections so you can plan hiring, investments, and growth with confidence instead of crossing your fingers.
- Budgeting and variance analysis — annual budgets you'll actually use, with variance reporting that explains why you're ahead or behind plan.
- Year-end financial statements — Notice to Reader, Compilation, or Review Engagement reporting for Canadian clients; US compilations and reviews coordinated with your CPA where needed.
- Strategic advisory — quarterly check-ins to talk through pricing, margins, hiring, capital decisions, and anything else where the numbers should inform the choice.
- Lender and investor reporting — financial packages prepared in the format your bank, lender, or investors expect, with covenants tracked and reported on time.
Who this is for
Established businesses ready to graduate from "the books are done" to actually using their financials to make better decisions. Typically business owners who've hit a complexity threshold — multiple revenue streams, growing teams, expansion plans, or just enough money on the line that gut-feel isn't enough anymore.
How we work
You get a dedicated accountant who treats your business like a real client, not a file number. We meet on a quarterly cadence by default to walk through the financials in plain language and surface what matters, with additional sessions available whenever you need them. Between meetings, you can reach your accountant directly when something comes up.
Why WOW
Plenty of accounting firms produce financial statements. Fewer explain them. We do both, and we do it in language that makes sense whether you've got an MBA or you've never opened a balance sheet before.
